FLAME DANCE TEAM COMPETITIONS 2025-26

FLAME University sent their contingent of 22 participants to ‘Satrang 2025’ organized by Symbiosis Center of Media and Communication, Viman Nagar. Participants from three of our clubs, FLAME Dance Club, FLAME Music Club and Naqaab: FLAME Theatre Club participated in a total of 4 events: Solo dance event, Music group event, Solo act event and Group Act event. The participants truly shone through with Krish Doshi (UG3) placed first in the solo dance event, the FLAME Band placed first in the group music event and Kritika Agarwal (UG3) played third in the solo act event.

FLAME Dance Club showcased exceptional talent at Reverb Fest, hosted by Symbiosis Institute of Technology. The Offbeat Crew secured First Place in the Group Dance Competition, impressing the judges and audience with their energy and creativity on stage.
In addition, FDC President Krish Doshi also brought home the First Place award in the Solo Dance Competition, showcasing versatility and strong stage presence.
Both Offbeat Crew and Nrityanjali represented FLAME with passion and excellence, marking a powerful beginning to the year’s performances and competitions. These achievements highlight the growing strength of the dance teams and set an exciting tone for the rest of the year.

FLAME Dance Club recently represented the university at the Carvaan IISC Bangalore Elimination round through the two dance teams: Offbeat (western wing) and Nrityanjali (classical wing). Both these teams delivered impressive performances that reflected their dedication, creativity and talent.
In addition to this, two solo performers, Krish Doshi and Aryan Madhogaria, members of Offbeat represented FLAME University in individual categories. Their efforts brought pride to FLAME University and demonstrated the continued progress of the dance club. The results of this competition will be announced by the end of November.

Carvaan, IISC Bangalore Elimination


Paakhi Talesara and Alaina Bhardwaj from Team Nrityanjali represented FLAME University by submitting their performance videos for the Shastriya Kathak Nrutya Spardha.
The competition focused on classical Kathak, and both participants presented clean, well-rehearsed pieces that highlighted their training and discipline in the form.
Their participation reflects the team’s continued involvement in external classical dance platforms and their commitment to engaging with opportunities beyond campus.

The FLAME Dance Club proudly represented the university at the dance competition Orion through its two teams: Offbeat (western wing) and Nrityanjali (classical wing). Both teams delivered powerful and well-coordinated performances that showcased their dedication, creativity, and artistic excellence, leaving a strong impression on the audience.
In addition to the group performances, two team members, Aryan Madhogaria and Adya Shigehalli represented FLAME in the solo category. Their confident and expressive performances further added to the club’s success and brought pride to FLAME University, reflecting the continued growth and commitment of the club.

Orion Fest- SIMS
FLAME Dance Club participated in Adhikosh Fest, held on 17th January 2026 at NIBM, Pune, bringing energy and vibrancy to the event. The performances by the club created an engaging atmosphere and drew an enthusiastic audience of participants and spectators.
The contingent consisted of two groups, Offbeat and Nrityanjali, with a total of 30 dancers. Offbeat, comprising 17 participants, delivered a powerful and high-energy performance, securing First Place, while Nrityanjali, with 13 participants, impressed with their grace and synchronization, earning Third Place.
Overall, the performances showcased the dancers’ creativity, coordination and passion for dance. Their achievements at Adhikosh Fest reflected the teams’ commitment to excellence, teamwork and celebrating the art of dance through spirited performances.

The Jersey Unveiling event at the Chandragupta Amphitheatre featured an energetic NrityaBeat performance by the FLAME Dance Club, bringing together dancers from Team Nrityanjali and Offbeat Crew. The act showcased a dynamic mix of classical grace and western rhythm, creating a captivating contrast on stage. With synchronized choreography, expressive transitions, and high-impact moments, the performers succeeded in energizing the audience and building excitement for the evening. Their presence added a strong cultural pulse to the event, drawing the crowd’s attention and uplifting the atmosphere. The performance contributed significantly to the overall engagement of the Jersey Unveiling, leaving the audience with a memorable blend of movement, music, and campus spirit.

The FLAME Dance Club delivered a series of engaging performances at the TEDX event, showcasing the versatility and talent of its members. Nrityabeat, a collaborative performance by Nrityanjali (the classical wing) and Offbeat (the western wing) presented a compelling blend of hip-hop and classical dance forms such as Kathak and Bharatanatyam. The choreography highlighted rhythmic precision, expressive storytelling, and elevated the overall energy of the event.
Along with this, two duet performances by Offbeat members, performed by Nandana Vinod and Aryan Madhogaria , and Janhavi Ajgaonkar and Sana Dhruva brought high energy, strong synchronization, and dynamic movement to the stage, adding vibrancy and excitement to the event. Overall, the performances significantly contributed to the lively atmosphere of the TEDx event and reflected the FLAME Dance Club’s commitment to artistic expression and collaborative creativity.

The two teams of the FLAME Dance Club came together as Nrityabeat at the MUN Closing Ceremony. This performance was a collaboration between Nrityanjali and Offbeat and featured a blend of hip-hop with classical Indian dance forms such as Kathak and Bharatanatyam.
The choreography highlighted clear rhythms, expressive movements and smooth transitions between styles, reflecting unity and coordination. The performance fit well with the spirit of the MUN ceremony and served as an engaging and memorable conclusion to the event.
