FDC Dance Workshop - "Aahun Aahun"
The FLAME Dance Club successfully conducted its first workshop of the Academic Year 2025- 26. The session featured a Bollyhop workshop on the song “Aahun Aahun”, designed to be beginner-friendly while also engaging experienced dancers. The workshop witnessed active participation from students across batches, fostering a vibrant atmosphere of enthusiasm and collaboration. The event marked a strong beginning to the year’s activities, setting the tone for future initiatives by the club. Overall, the workshop was well-received and achieved its objective of encouraging community building through dance.


FLAME Kurukshetra X Cultural Committee X FDC Garba Workshop with Vinayak Kamath
Dance Club, in collaboration with Kurukshetra, hosted a Navratri Garba Workshop. Leading the evening was Vinayak Kamat, a professional dancer with over 17 years of experience, including 12 with Shiamak Davar’s Dance Company.
The session began with simple warm-ups and step-by-step instructions, making the dance accessible for beginners while still engaging for experienced participants. As the night progressed, the foyer came alive with the sounds of claps and spins creating a lively atmosphere filled with energy and enthusiasm.
The workshop concluded with laughter, music, and a strong sense of togetherness, leaving everyone with fond memories and renewed excitement for the Navratri season.


FDC Bollywood Night
The FLAME Dance Club hosted Bollywood Night 2025, one of the most awaited and iconic cultural evenings on campus. Held at Kalidas on 8th October, the night was a celebration of colour, music, and pure Bollywood magic.
The venue was decked up with vibrant décor and filmy props, setting the perfect Bollywood vibe. From fun games that got everyone laughing to dazzling dance performances, the energy was electric throughout. The highlight of the night was the Lip Sync Battle, where students stole the show with their dramatic flair, enthusiasm, and unforgettable stage presence.


FDC X Bhavarth Dode: Hip-Hop Workshop
FLAME Dance Club hosted an electrifying Hip-Hop workshop with guest instructor Bhavarth Dode, transforming Kalidas into a stage pulsing with energy. The session featured a dynamic choreography on “Aadat Se Majboor”, seamlessly fusing Bollywood flair with Hip-Hop style.
Students from across batches joined in with enthusiasm, dancing with passion. Bhavarth’s engaging teaching style and infectious energy encouraged participants to enjoy every beat. The workshop ended with a powerful group performance, capturing cheers and smiles all around a perfect reflection of FDC’s spirit of unity.


FDC Alumni Workshop- Chikni Chameli
The Flame Dance Club hosted an energetic Alumni Dance Workshop led by alumni Nagalakshmy Iyer, Diva Ladhani, and Radhika Pande. The session brought together dancers of all levels for a lively and inclusive experience. Participants learned choreography to “Chikni Chameli,” with the alumni guiding them through warm-ups, steps, and practice rounds.
The workshop fostered creativity, confidence, and community spirit as students engaged, learned, and connected with former club leaders. Overall, it was a vibrant and impactful session that strengthened both skills and club camaraderie.


Dance Team Auditions
The FLAME Dance Club successfully conducted auditions for its two flagship performance teams, Team Nrityanjali (Classical Wing) and Offbeat Crew (Western Wing), on consecutive days. The FLAME Dance Team represents the University at intercollegiate competitions across multiple cities, making these auditions a crucial step in selecting dancers who will uphold and showcase FLAME’s artistic excellence.
Both days witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across batches, with performers bringing energy, passion, and originality to the stage. The auditions drew supportive audiences, fostering a spirited atmosphere of encouragement and appreciation.

FDC X TPI
On the 23rd of September, FLAME Dance Club in collaboration with The Story Project celebrated the hands that build our home, united by the rhythm of Dandiya.
We witnessed twirls of joy and clicks of gratitude!
It was an unforgettable Garba session, celebrating and dancing with the incredible housekeeping staff who are the heart of our campus.


FDC Semi Classical Workshop - "Tum Jo Aaye"
The FLAME Dance Club successfully conducted a semi-classical dance workshop on 29th October 2025. The workshop featured an elegant choreography on the song “Tum Jo Aaye” that beautifully blended classical dance elements with expressive and graceful movements. Participants from different skill levels ranging from beginners to well-trained dancers attended the workshop and showed great enthusiasm and dedication throughout the workshop.
The workshop was conducted in two slots, 8pm-10pm and 10pm- 12am. Each session provided participants with an engaging learning experience, focusing on technique, rhythm, and expression. Overall, the workshop was a delightful and enriching event celebrating the beauty of semi-classical dance.


Aladdin- The Musical
FDC X FMC X FFC X Naqaab
The Big 4 Clubs of FLAME, Naqaab, FLAME Music Club, FLAME Dance Club, and FLAME Fashion Club, came together to organise an Aladdin-inspired musical. The pre-event transformed Academic Plaza into a lively bazaar featuring karaoke, a photobooth by the Photography Club, AWC stall, mini-games, and a DJ Night. This interactive evening created an engaging and festive atmosphere, building anticipation for the main event.
On 28th November, the clubs presented Aladdin: The Musical, an ambitious collaborative production integrating theatre, live music, dance, and fashion. Shantiniketan hosted a packed audience as performers brought the world of Agrabah to life through expressive acting, choreography, and intricately designed costumes. The event showcased the collective creativity and coordination of the four clubs, marking one of the most impactful and well-executed student-led productions of the year.


FDC x FLAME KURUKSHETRA: Mega Dance Workshop
The FLAME Dance Club, in collaboration with FLAME Kurukshetra, successfully hosted the FLAME Mega Dance Workshop 2026. The event brought together dancers from FLAME University and the wider Pune dance community for a full day of learning and collaboration.
The workshop featured three of India’s leading dance artists, Samarpan Lama, Boogie LLB, and Aniket Chauhan, each conducting a specialized session in their signature styles. Samarpan Lama led a contemporary choreography session on Dooron Dooron. Boogie LLB followed with a high-energy freestyle session based on popping and waving to Unakkul Naane (Pritt). Aniket Chauhan closed the workshop series with a footwork and mixed-style choreography on Run Down the City.
The day concluded with an open Cypher with Jam and Battle Session, which was free and open to all, creating a vibrant space for dancers to interact, exchange styles, and celebrate dance culture together. The event successfully fostered community building, and creative exchange, marking one of the largest and most impactful dance initiatives hosted by the FLAME Dance Club.
